OpenTable has just released its first ever TV advertising campaign, ‘being choosy just got easy’ and is celebrating by offering one foodie the ultimate prize: a dinner for two in London every week for a year – that’s 52 meals in restaurants of the winner’s choice across the capital. With thousands of restaurants on OpenTable, the winner could be dining at an iconic rooftop restaurant one week and a quirky new underground venuethe next. By the end of the year the winner will be an expert on dining in the capital!
To be in with a chance to win, diners just need to download the free OpenTable app, make a booking and dine before 14th September 2014. Diners who already have the app can skip a step and simply book on the app and dine before 14th September 2014.
The new TV advertising campaign demonstrates the ease of using the OpenTable app to discover, research and instantly make a confirmed restaurant booking, with the strapline, “being choosy just got easy”. The three different executions reveal the simplicity of making an online booking by focusing on the app’s features in different settings. The first spot shows a booking being made at a pub for a restaurant nearby, the second reveals a booking being made during a dull meeting and the third shows a couple planning a quality meal out together.
